The following are required for admission:
Attendance by one or both parents at an online orientation followed by an optional tour of the school on a different day.
A completed OpenApply online application form. (Upon completion, please verify and open the parent account, as directed.)
A completed online Health History Form for each child. They are available from the Open Apply parent account once it has been opened.
Transcripts or copies of reports for each child for the most recent two years, or from Grade 8 and above for applicants to grades 10, 11 or 12. These may be uploaded as part of the application, attached to an email to admissions@newis.ed.jp, or posted to the school address. For applicants to the Early Learning Center or Grade One, a transcript is not required if the previous school or kindergarten does not issue them.
An interview with parent(s) and child(ren), online or onsite. If neither parent speaks English or Japanese, an interpreter should be provided by the parent(s).
入学手続きは以下のとおりです。
お子様の保護者の方（少なくともお一人）が、オンライン学校説明会に参加し、その後別日に行われる任意の施設見学会に参加します。
オンライン出願システム OpenApply にアクセスし、入学願書に記入します。
それぞれのお子様につき一部ずつ、健康管理カードに記入します。健康管理カードは、
最近２年分の成績証明書または通知表のコピーを用意し、以下の方法で提出します。

Eメール添付（admissions@newis.ed.jp）にて送信
当校へ直接郵送
A/ELCクラス（３－５歳クラス）または小学校1年生に出願するお子様で、現在通学・通園されている学校が成績証明書を発行していない場合は、成績証明書を提出する必要はありません。
オンラインまたは当校にて保護者の方、お子様との面接をします。保護者の方が英語と日本語のいずれもお話しにならない場合は、通訳者をお連れください。
Admission Decision
Following the interview, children will be accepted subject to the availability of space, provided that the records are complete, we are confident that the child will be able to substantially benefit from our program, and that the parents will support the mission of the school and abide by the school policies.
合否決定
保護者の方が必要書類を全て提出し、学校目標に賛同し、学校方針を遵守し、そして本校のプログラムを通してお子様が大いに学習することができると我々が確信し、かつ新入生を受け入れる余裕がある場合に入学が許可されます。
Decisions are made on a rolling basis. Early application is advised as there is a waiting list for many of the classes.
合否決定は、随時行っています。複数のクラスで、すでにウェイティングリストを作成している状態ですので、早めに出願していただくことをお勧めしております。
Payment of Entrance Fee will be required within ten days of acceptance to hold a space. The remainder of the fees are to be paid according to the schedule and payment options provided.
籍を確保していただくために、入学許可書が発行されてから10日以内に入学金をお納めいただきます。入学金以外の料金に関しては、お支払いのご案内に記載されている期日と方法に従って納めていただきます。
Note: A bus application form is also available from the OpenApply dashboard of the parent account for those who may wish their child(ren) to commute by school bus.
註：スクールバスの利用をご希望の場合は、OpenApply上で作成した保護者用アカウントにあるダッシュボードにスクールバス利用申込書がありますので、そちらに記入をお願いいたします。
